How this site works
This site is static and does not collect, store or transmit personal data to its own servers or to third parties. No profiling, analytics or tracking cookies of any kind are installed.
The site is hosted by ARCmedia S.r.l., with infrastructure located entirely in Italy. The hosting provider automatically generates technical server access logs (IP address, date and time of the visit, page requested, browser used), as a standard and non-deactivatable function of the hosting service, necessary for the security and correct functioning of the site. These logs can be consulted in aggregate form through the AWStats statistical tool included in the hosting plan.
The data contained in the logs is not used for profiling, marketing or tracking of individual users, and is not transmitted to third parties other than the hosting provider itself.
Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller in the security and correct functioning of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The contact form
The form in the Contact section does not send data to any server: on completion, it opens the user's default email client (e.g. Outlook, Apple Mail, Gmail) with a pre-filled message. It is the user who decides whether and how to send the email, using their own mail account. Petricca Advisors therefore receives only the emails the user chooses to send, just as if writing directly to flaviopetricca@petriccaadvisors.com.
The data contained in these emails (name, organisation, contact details, content of the request) is processed solely to respond to the request and, in the event of a professional relationship, to manage the engagement in accordance with legal obligations (tax, accounting, contractual).
Business email is hosted by ARCmedia S.r.l. on infrastructure located in Italy and is accessed via a desktop client (Microsoft Outlook). The client operates locally and does not transfer email contents to third-party cloud services.
Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). In the event of an engagement, processing continues for the performance of the contract and compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).
Retention
Emails received are kept for the time necessary to handle the request and, in the event of an engagement, for the period required by tax and accounting obligations (10 years). If there is no follow-up, they are deleted within 3 months (three months).
Recipients
Personal data may be disclosed exclusively to: ARCmedia S.r.l. (website and business email hosting), acting as data processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Data is not disclosed to any other third parties, except where required by law.
Transfers outside the EU
All personal data processed by Petricca Advisors — site logs and email contents — resides on infrastructure located in Italy, managed by ARCmedia S.r.l. No personal data is transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area.
Rights of the data subject
Under Articles 15–22 of the GDPR, the data subject may exercise the following rights at any time, by writing to privacy@petriccaadvisors.com:
- right of access to personal data (Art. 15);
- right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data (Art. 16);
- right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"), where the conditions are met (Art. 17);
- right to restriction of processing (Art. 18);
- right to data portability, where technically applicable (Art. 20);
- right to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21).
You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).
Cookies
This site does not use profiling, statistical or marketing cookies, nor third-party cookies, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Italian Data Protection Authority's Provision no. 231 of 10 June 2021 on cookies. For this reason there is no consent banner on opening the site: as there are no non-essential, statistical or profiling cookies to authorise pursuant to Art. 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Italian Privacy Code, as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018), there is no obligation to request the user's prior consent.
