AI Act — Use of artificial intelligence systems
In line with the principles of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act).
Why this page
Petricca Advisors believes that transparency about the use of artificial intelligence tools is an integral part of the independence and rigour that characterise its work. This page describes how and where AI systems may be used in the work process, in line with the principles of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act).
Technical judgement remains human
Every assessment, every axis state, every verdict contained in a Petricca Advisors report is the result of the direct, personal judgement of Flavio Petricca. No artificial intelligence system autonomously generates, replaces or approves the technical conclusions presented to clients.
Where AI tools may be used
Artificial intelligence tools may be used as support in instrumental activities such as: preliminary research and organisation of publicly available information, support in drafting and formatting documents, administrative and non-technical communication tasks.
In no case do these tools replace the technical analysis, the verification of claims, or the formulation of professional judgement, which remain entirely human activities.
Client data and AI systems
Confidential information shared by a client within an engagement — including data under NDA, sensitive technical details or patentable material — is not entered into general-purpose artificial intelligence systems without the client's explicit written agreement. For projects requiring a high level of confidentiality, an operating protocol is defined in advance that excludes or limits the use of AI tools on that specific material.
A commitment in evolution
The European regulatory framework on artificial intelligence is still in its applicative definition phase. This page is updated periodically to reflect both the evolution of the regulation and the evolution of Petricca Advisors' internal practices.
